Today, September 29, marked the presentation of the 2nd edition of the National Cyber Challenge League organized by the Guardia Civil (II National CyberLeague GC).

The talent within our universities is undeniable. For this reason, the Ministry of Interior has launched this initiative to promote the generation of Intelligence in the Cyberspace domain, through the identification, training, and retention of the best talent in our country.
The development of the CyberLeague aims to disseminate cybersecurity culture and techniques through an innovative project that, due to the circumstances of 2020, will be conducted in a completely virtual environment.
Through this initiative, the Guardia Civil seeks to foster and attract young talent, with the goal of creating multidisciplinary teams through an exclusive competition. The various teams will be accompanied by highly prestigious professional mentors, including Selva Orejón, Executive Director of onBranding, who returns as a mentor in this new edition.

The II National CyberLeague GC is not only looking for cybersecurity experts but also requires talent that can contribute to the formation of a multidisciplinary team with diverse skills and characteristics.
Some of the most prominent disciplines for which teams need to integrate talent are the following:
· Ethical Hacking: cyber defense of corporate and national environments is a fundamental aspect of cybersecurity.
· Digital Law, Economics, and Business: compliance with digital law regulations is crucial for ensuring the survival and growth of a
company. It is necessary to understand the framework governing cyberspace and the investment required to minimize risks.
· Communication: a crisis situation determines whether a company survives or not. Effective communication is necessary when organizations face complex
situations.
