The security-focused publication CSO, in collaboration with Palo Alto Networks, is organizing a meeting on November 23 to discuss the challenges facing hybrid work.

Hybrid work is here to stay, but it presents a series of new security challenges for companies. Controlling access to applications, data, and systems is an increasingly important aspect of protecting any environment against internal and external threats.

Remote work has increased the risk of suffering a malware attack by 3.5 times. The absence of a unified cybersecurity strategy, technological vulnerabilities, a lack of knowledge in this field, and a poor risk control strategy are the main causes of cyberattacks in hybrid work environments.

This is an exclusive and participatory meeting where attendees (CISOs, CIOs, and professionals related to the world of cybersecurity) will provide their vision on the new security challenges and requirements in the workplace.

The event, which will take place at Espacio Solo in Madrid, will be opened by Selva Orejón, who will give a talk on the future and the main trends in corporate cybersecurity.

A debate will follow in which Silvia Barrera, a Spanish cybersecurity and cybercrime investigation expert and National Police inspector, along with prominent CISOs from major Spanish companies such as MAPFRE and Ferrovial, will delve into the best practices for supporting and protecting the new era of hybrid work.

Finally, an interactive workshop will be held with attendees to reflect on the best policies and solutions for Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
