LOCATION: Madrid
The paradigm shift in communication systems and the way we interact has altered our perception of privacy and environments that once seemed impenetrable, such as the intimate and the private, turning them in many cases into public ones.
- It is curious how, even knowing that privacy and intimacy are things that the use of internet technologies cannot guarantee, we continue to resist believing that nothing happens by uploading images or by using the same password on all devices and social networks… We do not fully perceive the danger of leaving our digital identity in the hands of third parties, and when we realize that we no longer have control, we also believe we are defenseless.
- On the internet, not everything goes, not everything is possible, and not everything is equal. It is possible, and sometimes necessary, to remove harmful content posted online about a celebrity and their inner circle.
- The course will review the multiple situations that can be experienced online and how they can be managed, how to protect oneself from them, and how to defend against attacks. It will demonstrate how prevention is the best defense and will develop a digital identity protection plan for celebrities and companies.
WHO IT IS AIMED AT
- Celebrities, politicians, agents, managers, representatives, guardians, and family representatives, as well as their online reputation managers, Dircoms, Security Directors, and any authority handling sensitive information in private and professional environments who uses the internet; especially social networks and has public, semi-public, private, or apparently secret or anonymous profiles.

WHAT IS DIGITAL IDENTITY
It is defined in dictionaries as the set of information published on the internet about me that makes up the image others have of me: personal data, images, news, comments, tastes, friendships, hobbies, etc.
You can read more about digital identity in the book DIGITAL IDENTITY: What it is, methods of analysis, investigation, and assessment of image loss online: Digital identity, social media identity
The loss of image, reputation, and digital identity on the internet is a discipline addressed through judicial and private forensic expertise. The study of this subject has defined digital identity as the identity assumed by a user or multiple users online; this is composed of 3 identity layers (social media identity, technical identity, and finally the analog identity or “multi-user” analog identities behind the previous ones).
This book analyzes cases of identity loss due to impersonation, usurpation, or identity theft on social networks, or through illicit access to a user’s network or machines, where the user is seriously harmed, either by the imputation of a crime or by the loss of credibility and/or notoriety online.
