Facebook Page, Community Page, and Site Migration (New Service)

This morning, I discovered how Facebook pages, community pages, and sites can be migrated.

First, locate the page, community page, or site you wish to migrate. You must declare that it is yours. They will call you on the mobile number you specify and provide you with a 4-digit code. You then need to enter this code in the designated field on Facebook, which will be on the same screen you are currently viewing.

You enter the code, and they confirm the migration via email.

Once confirmed, you only need to observe the changes; users, likes, and information are all migrated…

This is very useful for community managers of companies who, through monitoring their brands’ assets, have discovered that community pages have been created for them – thankfully! We were previously tied hand and foot.
