The Christmas holidays are just around the corner, the rush to buy gifts, the lottery, home decorations, last-minute meals, making leisure plans, finishing up work, and… what happens when you realize you don’t have time and will have to try to finish everything online… Don’t worry, nothing has to happen to us, but if we’re not careful, stay alert, and connect to secure sites, our money and privacy are at risk.

Some reminders: #bargainwebsites, half-price shoes on Facebook, viral Christmas invitations, and #familyphotos can be VERY expensive (remove their metadata, don’t geolocate yourself, some photos reveal much more than they seem, avoid posting your gifts on open networks).
