Hunting the Hunter: Parallel Investigations is the title of the paper presented by onBRANDING at the annual cybersecurity conference held in Albacete @navajanegra_ab with @selvaorejon, executive director of onBRANDING, and @ruthlegal from Legal Consultors.

The paper focuses on the work carried out to hunt down a criminal for their actions both online and offline.

How to use “Internet and Social Media Information Search” and what to do when “The case generates digital evidence 24 hours a day.”

The work coordinated by Selva Orejon between the ICT criminal lawyer, data analysts, as well as detectives, forensic IT specialists, and the criminal psychologist, along with the rest of the team.

But why have a criminal profiler on the team? We work with Jorge Jiménez Serrano to prepare forensic psychological reports for the victim and the criminal psychological profile of the aggressor.

Selva’s work with detectives and OSINT analysts helps cross-reference information from potential digital identities that emerge, understood as:

– social media identity

– technical identity

– analog identity

To learn more about the study of digital identity, we recommend reading the book DIGITAL IDENTITY by Selva Orejón, recently published along with the analysis of specific cases where digital identity has been attacked.

We will discuss revenge porn, exposed celebrities, identity theft, impersonation, gender violence, and digital violence.
