Carmen Jordá
Graduate in Psychology and Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), lawyer with the Madrid Bar Association, Master’s in Criminal Analysis and Investigation from UAM, and Master’s in Criminology and Juvenile Delinquency from the University of Castilla-La Mancha. She served as an intelligence analyst in the international security unit of a private multinational company and is currently a researcher at the UAM Institute of Forensic Sciences, leading national and international research projects related to crime in Europe, cybercrime, cyberterrorism, and violent extremism.
Juan Carlos Ruiloba
Former Head of the Barcelona IT Section and the Cybercrime Group of the Barcelona BPPJ of the National Police Corps. He currently directs the Computer Forensics and Technological Investigation company “Scientific Intelligence Team 1 S.L.”. He has over 30 years of professional experience in Technological Investigation, Cybersecurity, Computer Forensics, Legislation, Digital Evidence, Report Writing, Court Testimony, Cyber-investigation, Solving New Technological Challenges, Incident Response, Electronic Evidence, and Ethical Hacking. Lecturer in Undergraduate and Master’s programs at several universities and academic courses. Speaker at training sessions and events such as Rooted, ISACA, ISMS Forum, No cON Name, and ICAB.
Sub-inspector Rogerio Guerra
Law degree, postgraduate studies in Legal Sciences and Information Warfare; Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon, lawyer specializing in IT and cyber-investigator. He is a Chief Inspector of the Judiciary Police, responsible for the fight against computer crime in Portugal.
Sub-inspector Ruben Mora
Telecommunications Engineer, Higher Diploma in Criminology, Member of the unit since 2003, Head of the unit in 2006, Sub-inspector, Head of the Computer Crimes Unit – Mossos d’Esquadra.
Ruth Sala
Criminal Lawyer, Specialist in Crime through the use of Information Technology and Communication channels specific to New Information Technologies. Researcher on Electronic Evidence and its evidentiary value in court, specializing in Digital Certification. Currently a collaborating professor at the University of Barcelona in the Master’s in Digital Law and at La Salle in the Master’s in Digital Marketing.
Selva Mª Orejón
Academic background: Graduate in Communication Sciences from the Ramon Llull University, Blanquerna Faculty, specializing in Reputational Crisis Management and Online Communication Strategy. Diploma in Business Organization and Environment from the University of Cambridge, currently studying Applied Cryptography at Knowlabs (University of Washington). Founder and Executive Director of onbranding and the National Cycle of Brand Care Congresses for the protection and defense of commercial and personal brands. Professor at the Catalonia Police School.
DURATION AND COMMITMENT
The Postgraduate Program in Cybercrime runs from September 15 to December 11, 2015, and requires a commitment of 200 hours (28 hours of webinars and 172 asynchronous hours).
