Among other statements, Selva Orejón believes that so-called hybrid cybersecurity profiles, such as lawyers or forensic experts, should receive cross-disciplinary training from university, as “all university studies require this knowledge.”

She elaborates on the above, stating that it should be done from an early age, and adds, “technology cannot be above us.”

Regarding the most common crimes, Selva Orejón indicates that “the types of crimes depend on the victim.” She considers them to be both random and targeted, highlighting password hacking and all types of scams.

Regarding influencers, the expert indicates that they are targets of crimes, and Selva is emphatic in stating that “the reputational consequences are significant, but the emotional ones are triple.”

Regarding digital identity, she differentiates between analog identity, social identity, and technical identity, emphasizing that all three must be identified when filing a lawsuit.

Regarding what is recognized in the Charter of Digital Rights concerning cybersecurity, Selva says that “each user must be very clear about their digital identity and what they want to share and what they do not,” and adds, “it is important to have a regulator.”
