Reports have emerged that both Google and the US Senate have asked employees and senators not to use it, and the company’s shares have plummeted on the stock market.”

Selva Orejón, director of Onbranging and an expert in digital identity, points to another possibility. “For years, PayPal, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram have been hacked, yet we continue to use the same password and still don’t have two-factor authentication activated.” According to this expert, “this has been happening for a long time. It has only affected Microsoft users, meaning Windows users, because most of the passwords they use are published in internet databases.”
