Cybercriminals are using QR codes to successfully deceive their victims, concealing malware and trojans that slip onto devices and put users at risk.

“Selva Orejón advises reviewing “the device’s security and privacy settings, not only those of the handset, but also the various privileges we grant to the phone’s apps themselves (camera, photo gallery, geolocation, etc.)”.”
