Google has been preparing Google Social Analytics, its social quantitative analysis tool integrated into Google Analytics, over the last few months. For its global launch, they featured Avinash Kaushik, the international web analytics expert.

#webanalytics refers to a feature that provides information on how users interact with content on social networks or media. This means it will be possible to understand what users do both on and off the website. It will reveal the “social” percentage influencing defined goals and conversions. In other words, we are talking about measurable Social Media.

To understand all of this, Social Analytics provides users with a series of specific reports, such as the example in the image taken from Google’s official blog. These reports will generate general social media information, including (among other data) a chart showing total conversions and, of those, which are attributed to social networks.
