Not at all—it goes much further. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr… All social sites are such a powerful distribution platform that some governments request and demand the deletion of data from profiles, pages, groups, sites…

Facebook, leading the way in transparency communication, has decided to publish its transparency report on content removal for the third time.

The results show us important highlights regarding the Middle East.

India leads in requesting and executing content removal and data deletion on Facebook, followed by Pakistan, Turkey, and Russia.

Spain’s presence in the report is merely anecdotal, as we can see here:
