SocialBro launches new features for real-time Twitter data; real-time analytics for Twitter is the new feature announced today by SocialBro—the Twitter community management and analysis application. From now on, users of the tool will be able to see at a glance who is online in their community in real time, among other possibilities.

Users will be able to view in real time: who is online at any given moment, the total number of followers of active users, online users per second, the primary languages of profiles that have tweeted in the last five minutes, and the most used applications and clients.

As explained by SocialBro CEO Luis Pablo Pardo, “real-time analytics can be applied to your timeline, your Twitter lists or other people’s lists, and to a search, hashtag, or keyword.” Pardo emphasizes that the new SocialBro feature can be leveraged in many ways: “If your community speaks more than one language, you can find out which language is best to tweet in at any given time. You can also see which apps they are tweeting from. If they are using Foursquare or Instagram, for example, they might not be paying attention to their timeline.”

Furthermore, SocialBro’s real-time analytics allows users to monitor who is online in a list and who is tweeting a hashtag at a specific moment. “The function of monitoring a Twitter search in real time is very useful for quickly knowing how active a hashtag is, for example,” adds Pardo.

The Chrome version of SocialBro will update automatically throughout the day (the new version can also be updated manually). Adobe Air version users must click “Download” under “SocialBro for Desktop.”
