This morning, we received an email from a Telefónica contact who shared a new project with us, Comunica 2.0, which aims to organize an intranet featuring collaborative 2.0 tools. The idea is to leverage these tools to enhance internal communication among the workforce in Latin America.

This is a large-scale project, involving 60,000 employees across 13 countries. The primary reasons for undertaking this project are to improve the sense of belonging, identify internal talent, increase productivity, support internal and corporate communication, and facilitate and strengthen dialogue among the company, its members, and internal stakeholders.

From our perspective, the most challenging aspect will be to “convince” both management and the intranet’s future users. Onbranding supports this initiative, which we hope will be a first step towards integrating 2.0 tools into human resources, people management, and knowledge departments.
