Vueling online common sense

This afternoon, our wallet was stolen on the subway, containing our ID, passport, credit cards, driver’s license, money… In short, we were left unable to travel. We filed a report and were about to present it to Vueling when I suddenly checked their Twitter and saw something I had been waiting for for a VERY, VERY long time: online common sense.

What is it about expecting a Community Manager to be online 24 hours a day… crazy, right? Well, there are other solutions, as I mentioned in the post: Slaves to the Motivation to Serve Online.

Companies, however, can offer 24-hour services with shifts of 3 community managers. Let’s make this job rational, with common sense, and without sacrificing workers’ rights that have taken us so long to achieve.

Will the service be expensive? It depends… let’s see what it can offer us…

Well, Vueling indicates the following on its Twitter profile:

@VuelingClients Barcelona

Our official Twitter support channel to resolve your queries about the Vueling service. Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 6 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM

Bravo for this initiative, I like it.
